I hope you enjoy reading my blog. These are just every day tales of birding and related Orkney stuff. With a bit of luck I hope to give a bit of a glimpse into life in the northern isles, I am not what you might call an expert birder. I am quite keen though and am lucky enough to live in a great place that is stuffed full of outstanding history and brimming with natural history. With it’s abundant and diverse flora and fauna on land and sea and great birds that go on year round these islands are a treasure trove of delights. So if you can manage to drag your self’s past my poor grammar hopefully I might give you a small taste of the feast that is living in Orkney..

Nice photo, just bought a couple of new filters for my camera so i'm hoping to be able to take better landscape shots. Did you use any filters for this shot?
ReplyDeleteCheers madvanman, na all i did was a a slight lightening and a sharpen then crop. all on picasa. I used a wee nikon 5600 point n shoot.
